Other British Locations

But, what about British locations other than Brit & Chips?

Many other restaurants in Montreal offer British food. This is the case for pubs, Irish and British, and other specific restaurants like “Ye Olde Orchard” or “Burgundy Lion.”  In the past few years, a new trend has came to life in Montreal. Emerging around the 1840s in England, afternoon tea time gave led to the creation tea houses. Very common in England, tea houses are the perfect place for a quick or long, chat with friends. The phenomenon of tea houses has since spread across continents, ending up in Montreal. “Cardinal Salon de Thé et Buvette,” “Salon de Thé le Gryphon d’Or,” “Le Parloir” and many other locations now offer the service of afternoon tea as the British do it. Sandwiches of all kinds, macarons, scones, and many other options are offered there as well as the tea of your choice. British, of course. It is now up to you to find your favorite fish and chips, pub, or tea house location!
